Job Summary

The Marketing Intern role will be part of the marketing organization managing B2B and B2C content for multiple channels (social media, display banners, video, search copy, landing pages, email, direct mail, and various print communications. In addition, this position will be a part of the broader Farmers Insurance Internship Program which features a group project at the end of the internship where you will partner with other Farmers Interns from across the Country on a particular project and present to key business stakeholders.

Essential Job Functions

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, marketing channel partners, creative agencies both internal and external, and communications teams.
  • Onboard creative assets onto a creative digital platform manager for easy customization and maintenance of creative templates.
  • Assist creative marketing team as needed with new creative requestes.
  • Interns will work alongside project mentors and weekly sync-ups with project leads. Over the course of the summer, Interns will ultimatley build a minimum viable product and have a "capstone" opportunity to present those findings to the Farmers leadership team.

Physical Actions

Required job duties are essentially sedentary in nature, consisting of occasional walking, standing, lifiting and/or carrying ten pounds maximum.

Education Requirements

  • Rising Senior working toward Bachelor's (BS/BA) degree in Marketing
  • Entering final year of Master's program (MS/MA) in Marketing

Experience Requirements

Special Skill Requirement

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Eperience with Adobe Pro or Photshop is preferred
  • Basic understanding of HTML is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Additional Qualification

  • Ability to work eight to twelve weeks during the summer
