Business Innovation & Automation Consultant

The role of the Business Innovation Consultant is a junior developer position that will collaborate with and influence other areas within the company to innovate and develop technical solutions that drive process efficiency, risk mitigation, automation, and creation of enabling capabilities. This role will focus on partnering with our internal customers to drive value through process innovation well as support technical processes utilized by areas within the Government Services organization. As a Consultant, you will work with your development team partners to triage, prioritize and support technical tasks and fixes while building your skillset with additional tools and solutions. You will work with tools such as SharePoint, SQL server, HTML, Python, Alteryx, Scripting and similar development tools while working with a business analyst & PM to analyze processes, identify pain points, advise and lead solution development. This Consultant role will also be responsible for independently working through and managing minor support work, updates and enhancements while also partnering with team members to perform testing and validation post implementation.

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server (including T-SQL, views, stored procedures, user defined functions, etc.)
  • 2+ years’ experience in application design and development using SharePoint, HTML, Python and/or Scripting
  • Aptitude to continually develop expertise in designing the processes and thinking outside of the box
  • Innovative mindset

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience working in healthcare sector
  • Experience conducting analytics using SharePoint, SQL, Tableau, Excel
  • Comfort engaging diverse stakeholders, attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and problem solving.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a manner that is clear, concise, logical and consistent

Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
