Intern, Digital Sales Financial Analyst
The Role
Autodesk is looking for a summer intern to join our Digital Sales Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Director for Digital & e-Commerce , thi s role will focus on planning and financial analysis for one of the fastest growing business segment s at Autodesk .
The right candidate for this role will demonstrate strong financial mode ling skills, sharp business acumen and have an analytical mindset.
At this point in time, Autodesk is planning for a virtual summer internship program.
Reporting to the Finance Director, Digital and e-Commerce, your r esponsibilities will be to:
Collaborate with the Finance Director to provide strategic and operational finance support to the Digital and eCommerce organization
Build financial models and scenario analysis to help Digital & eCommerce Sales optimize growth strategy
Help develop and manage the preparation of critical financial analyses and executive level presentations
Present findings to Finance and Digital & eCommerce Sales Leadership
Help Digital & eCommerce Sales Leadership understand the context or 'why' behind our financial results
Lead analysis of billings, revenue, gross margin subscriptions, ARR/NR3 and other financial measures that are essential to measuring the success of our subscription transition
Minimum Qualifications
Students must be at least 18 years of age
Student must be actively enrolled in a degree granting academic institution or accredited boot camp at the time of internship
Students must reside and attend university in the country where the internship is being offered
Preferred Qualifications
Pursuing an MBA or master’s in business, or a related field
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills . Power BI or Tableau experience is a plus
Adept at analyzing and understanding the trends and color within multiple views, including internal/management and external views
Comfort with the cyclicality of the role and the peaks and valleys of the workload, particularly around the quarter-end close
About the US Intern Program
The U.S. program runs from May through August for 12 weeks. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. US recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes in March.
