WHY THIS ROLE IS MISSION-CRITICAL
The Data Science Intern will support the data science team and the company as a whole by working on exciting and impactful projects.

KEY PRIORITIES

    • Analyze data and find actionable insights
    • Build impactful machine learning models
    • Learn from and support various aspects of the business such as revenue, marketing, and operations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Current undergraduate, master, or Ph.D. student in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Computer Science, or Statistics
    • Coursework in data structures, statistics, probability, and machine learning
    • Fluency in at least one programming language such as Python or R
    • Proficiency in at least one relational database querying language such as MySQL
    • Experience with machine learning algorithms such as random forests, logistic regression, and KMeans
    • Experience with statistical techniques such as hypothesis testing

NICE TO HAVE:

    • Experience with time series forecasting models such as ARIMA, Holt-Winters, LSTMs, and attention mechanisms
    • Experience with big data frameworks such as Spark or Hadoop
    • Experience with ETL tools such as AWS Redshift or Glue
