Position Summary
REMOTE / TELECOMMUTE - ANYWHERE USA. We are seeking interns to work as part of our new ventures team where we periodically incubate with our partners in mobility to capture new opportunities and create new businesses in mobility enabled by space. This role requires someone who is versatile and can wear the multiple hats of a start-up.
Essential Job Responsibilities
You will participate in constructing the overall business plan, identifying business priorities, as well as associated business and technical challenges. You will learn and participate in the process of early customer identification, research and engagement, as well as team build out and resource allocation.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
In progress of a getting a Bachelors or Masters degree with a major in aerospace engineering, physics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.- Experience with space systems/space mission engineering.
- Experience OR excitement in entrepreneurship and familiarity working with VC’s/CVC’s.
- Execution oriented individual that understands and can apply lean startup thinking, facilitate complex projects, and oversee teams.
- Exceptional people skills and the demonstrated ability to gain confidence, build rapport, and drive consensus with team members.
It'd Be Great If You Also Had These
- Experience in sensing solutions and capabilities.
- Experience working with large data sets and/or image processing
- Background in CubeSat/SmallSat systems desired
- Previous experience working at a start-up and leading teams.
