Junior Localisation Project manager – POLAND – remote-based- permanent



We are looking for a Junior Localization Project Manager, ideally with experience working on a variety of verticals, with a minimum of 2+ years in ideally, Project Management/Localization. This role is a new role with our client, a Language service provider who is expanding their teams in the EUROPE. This role is fully remote, home-based, permanent.


The Project Manager will be assigned workflows, tools and processes in which you will be the leading expert within the Language Review Services program. You will be expected to have a have strong client, vendor, and negotiation skills, same as polished client communication. The role will involve working until 5 pm // 5:30 pm GMT.



RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Working as a reliable, supportive team member in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensuring that the client receives superior standards of project management and customer service at all times
  • Delivering all projects on time and within budget in accordance with client requirements
  • Working in tandem with colleagues to prepare proposals and quotations
  • Tracking and controlling of all costs throughout the entire lifecycle of a project
  • Status reporting customized to clients’ needs
  • Provision of business intelligence, quality & productivity metrics customized to clients’ needs
  • Running project kick-offs and post-project analysis initiatives
  • Hosting conference calls between translators and reviewers
  • Working with the client, reviewers and translators on quality improvement initiatives
  • Troubleshooting, setting standards, making recommendations to improve the process and maximize efficiencies where possible
  • Central handling of queries and support requests
  • Capacity planning for internal & external resources
  • Interacting with linguistic resources and digital marketing specialists and third-party stakeholders



DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERTISE



  • Degree or Masters in Translation, Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Fluent English is essential + other languages will be a benefit for this role
  • Experience working in Localisation (2 years or more)
  • Experience managing teams of onsite and offsite resources
  • Excellent financial, communication, interpersonal and organization skills
  • Knowledge of standard CAT packages (Trados, SDLX, Catalyst, etc.)
  • Knowledge of GMS systems
