However, the position may not be performed remotely from Colorado, California, Florida, Connecticut, or Washington and the candidate must be eligible to work inside the United States.

This internship is designed for someone interested in podcasts. It offers a high-level view of podcast creation and regular, direct experience editing raw audio. The position results in one finished season's worth of episodes.

This person edits audio, adds narration tracks, cuts silences, and adds enhancements prior to episode publication. They also attend the interviews, tag audio files, and may assist with some scheduling. This is a remote position. The internship is structured around the production of one full season of a podcast.

Job Experiences:
Participate in weekly kickoff call with podcast production manager
Participate in weekly production meetings
Edit about one hour of raw audio down to about 20 minutes worth of clips each week
Layout 20-minute episodes with narration and music
Attend remote tapings/interviews
Use an automated transcription tool to transcribe each episode
Coordinate blog posts for each episode
Work with members of the editorial and PR teams
Work directly with podcast production manager

Milestone Project:
With the help of the team, this person will release a full season of an established podcast.

Requested Background:
This person should have some knowledge of audio editing software. Ideally, they will also have an example of previous working editing audio (even for small personal projects).
