About the internship
Upgrow is hiring for a programming digital marketing intern who loves working in a fast-paced agency environment. This is an ideal role for someone with a background in web development/design who is interested to build a career in digital marketing.
Our internship program is a 6-month program where you will be trained and exposed to real-world clients with real budgets, where you can have a meaningful impact. A full-time employment may be offered during or at the end of the internship program (although this is not guaranteed).

ABOUT UPGROW
We are a growth-focused digital marketing agency supporting a variety of clients from startups to Fortune 500 companies with SEO, PPC, social media marketing, web design, and web analytics. Our agency takes a full-funnel approach to marketing that delivers results for clients.
We embrace remote working and have a fully distributed team across the US. Your work hours will be required to overlap significantly with Pacific time.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in managing Google Ads and Facebook Ads campaigns primarily for software and technology clients (i.e. databases, IT security, web applications)
- Advanced Excel reporting
- Supporting our team in organizing various projects
- Perform and analyze reports via Google Analytics and Google Data Studio
- Build systems and workflows to organize tasks and create checklists
- Keyword research and ad copywriting
- Audience research and building
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience (professional or personal) in computer science, software development, and/or digital marketing.
- Knowledge of development and technical topics is a plus as many of our clients are in highly technical industries
- Demonstrable ability to complete tasks with ambiguity and adhere to deadlines
- Well-organized and process-driven
- Strong data analysis skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Google Ads Professional Certified and/or Google Analytics Professional Certified a plus
- Experience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads, and/or other platforms.
- Experience with web design and development (especially on WordPress)
