2022 Service & Operations Internship - Remote

Symetra has several great opportunities to be part of our 2022 Service and Operations Internship Program!

About the program

We have several exciting analyst opportunities in the Service and Operations organization where you can help us pave the way for the digital experience at Symetra with our customers at the center. During the program, you'll gain practical experience, skills, and knowledge you can use to start to build your brand. Selected interns will be matched to internships based on your area of interest, your aptitude, and your areas of study.

This year’s program will be remote, and interns will be expected to work from home. The internship is a paid, full-time opportunity for three months (12 weeks). If you're looking to learn, collaborate and make an impact, this is the program for you!

Project examples

Each of our interns will join a specific team aligned to the Symetra Service Strategy and work towards a critical project over the summer. See below for example projects.

Supporting the Symetra Service Strategy via aligned work in the following areas:

Scalable Operations. Work may include:

  • Documentation of business rules supporting dynamic checklists and streamlining the operational processes.

Customer Understanding. Work may include:

  • Building customer personas and customer journeys
  • Analyzing the data received today providing customer insights, providing trends and analysis

Community Building. Work may include:

  • Analyzing data and defining action plans, support implementation

Correspondence Strategy. Work may include:

  • Providing support to automate hundreds of letters

Digital Experience. Work may include:

  • Analyzing data to build out user stories/requirements so we can show up in the way our customers/partners need through their digital experiences
