Business Continuity Intern – Risk Management
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated team player to join the Risk Management team at Autodesk and help us administer our Business Continuity and Crisis Management programs. The team is responsible for ensuring that Autodesk has an effective enterprise Business Continuity Management (BCM) governance framework that is consistent with requirements and industry standards / best practices. This role will support the team responsible for these programs and will assist in updating and developing program guidance, as well as planning and conduct ing mock- crisis exercises to test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies.
Responsibilities
Contribute to and maintain program guidelines and processes
Update program documentation to incorporate/align with new industry standards and practices
Review existing disaster recovery, crisis management, or business continuity plans and participate in updates, integration, and operation
Participate in developing exercises or testing activities, and provide analys es , conclusions, and recommendations thereon
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (in progress) or Master’s Degree (in progress) with a focus or emphasis on business continuity, risk management, operations, or a related field
Knowledge or u nderstanding of BCM governance frameworks, business continuity best practices, and operational risk management
Preferred Qualifications
Outstanding communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
Capability to balance multiple projects and competing priorities
About the U.S. Intern Program
The U.S. program runs from May - August for 12 weeks and will be remote (subject to change). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. US recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes at the end of March.
