The Payroll Analyst for AMERICAS primary responsibility is to process payrolls across USA, Canada and Puerto Rico in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with local laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payrolls across USA, Canada and Puerto Rico
  • Administer the Year End tax filings and disbursement of employee forms for all applicable countries
  • Support all relevant Finance/Accounting teams with reconciliations or general Payroll queries
  • Maintain accurate journal entries for salaries, pension, taxes, and social security into Oracle financials by monitoring General Ledger strings at a company and employee level.
  • Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software systems, and procedures.
  • Administer expatriate related payroll activities and coordinate with external tax vendors as needed.
  • Maintain the Americas shared Payroll Inbox, working to a maximum 24 hour response time. Supporting employees with any pay-related queries.
  • Maintaining communication and relationships with corporate staff: Accounting, Internal Audit, Financial Planning & Analysis, and People / HR
  • Maintain SOX controls and coordinate annual testing and reporting with Internal / External Auditors.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience of payroll processing
  • Previous experience in Workday, highly desirable
  • Knowledge on ADP Streamline, ADP Workforce Now and WORKDAY systems
Skills:
  • Use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Outlook, and willingness to experiment and work with new technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
