Mazars is seeking high-performing studentsto join the Risk Consulting team. As anintern in our Risk Consulting practice, you will be responsible for providing the highest levels of client service excellence while working with other professionals and interacting with valued clients.

Responsibilities :
This position offers the opportunity to develop your career within our expanding Risk Consulting practice. Your responsibilities will include the following:
Client Service and Delivery
- General understanding and willingness to learn of the Financial Service industry and Risk Consulting services such as Internal Audit, Information Technology Audit, Security and Privacy, SOX Advisory, SOC1 / SOC2 Reporting, Enterprise Risk Management and AML/Regulatory Compliance.
- Delivers services as part of an engagement team with general supervision
- Demonstrates increasing proficiency in basic audit and advisory skills and knowledge on business operations and/or IT processes and internal controls related to the areas being reviewed
- Participates in client and internal presentations, work product or report development and deliverable creation
- Develops understanding of the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technologies.
- Stays informed of general business and economic developments and their effect on the client.
- Communicates ideas in a clear and understandable manner
- Demonstrates sound judgment and effective decision making to manage and mitigate risk
Project Management
- Completes tasks within scope through effective time management
- Understands engagement and project planning
- Contributes to work planning and status reporting on engagements
- Recognizes, researches and participates in resolution of engagement issues
- Performs careful self-review of work to ensure individual quality control
Professional Growth
- Develops and maintains expertise in technical & industry areas
- Develops an understanding of all Risk Consulting offerings and tools required by the professional services delivered
- Maintains ongoing CPE requirements and development
- Work towards obtaining an approved certification related to technical areas
Qualifications :
- Strong academic credentials (Minimum GPA of 3.0)
- Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Pursuit of professional designation such as the CPA, CISA, CIA CAMS, and/or CFE is valued
- Active involvement in organizations (volunteer or campus related)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills utilizing project management methods and tools
- General understanding of performing controls-based services, including auditing Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs)
- Ability to assist in preparation and execution of test plans, process documentation and internal control-based change
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; knowledge of data analytic tools, MS Project, Access, and Visio a plus
- Motivated and determined to meet client deadlines and provide excellent service to clients
- Ability to work as part of a team and build constructive working relationships with co-workers and clients
- Willingness to travel when applicable
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
