We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as an Accounting Intern. This position would work part-time hours (15-20) during the spring semester, with the possibility of full-time intern hours during the summer. This position will be located in Rolla, MO with the possibility of remote work for the right candidate.

Summary
The Accounting Intern will perform activities in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This person will assist in ensuring invoices are processed in a timely manner. Also, maintaining accurate record keeping is important.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable globally.
• Accounts Payable duties: open daily mail, scan invoices, filing, review unmatched PO report and close PO's when appropriate, other duties as assigned.
• Accounts Receivable duties: process daily invoices, enter daily receipts into the accounting system, reconcile the daily bank report, other duties as assigned.
• Assist the month end close process for all global companies to ensure accurate, timely and compliance of company and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in Brewer Science, Inc. Internship Program activities.

Credentials & Education:

• Bachelors degree in Finance or 1 to 2 year’s experience in finance field
