BOOST is helping one of our growing clients find the best candidate for an Jr Helpdesk role. You will be responsible for managing all resources and processes required to design, plan, and support the IT systems and services of our client's organization. If you are someome that likes to take action, get results, work in a supportive team environment and eager to learn and grow in the IT field, then this is the job for you. This position allows you to work 3 days a week at the office in DC and 2 days working from home.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the provisioning of employee accounts and security privileges according to vendor and industry best practices, and the monitoring of network and server health as needed.
- Provide exemplary end user support and track all technical incidents within the help desk system.
- Manage the technology budget.
- Set up laptops for new employees.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered within scope, budget, and time.
- Ensures business continuity through availability and security of information technology.
- Guide the design of features that improve adoption, reliability, and usefulness of applications or systems.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or H.S./GED and 4+ years experience in IT Help Desk
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Active Directory
