Position Summary:
**
The Junior Appraisal Reviewer is responsible for reviewing and analyzing appraisal reports prepared by external appraisers through Appraisal Management Companies to validate the accuracy and adequacy of the report in compliance with industry standards, agency and regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining communication with AMCs, loan officers, processors, and underwriters as to the status of appraisal review requests as needed.
• Order external products such as desk reviews, field reviews, DAIRS, IBTS for the department when needed.
• Assist senior appraisal reviewers in the review of revised appraisal reports and clearing appraisal conditions.
• Assist Appraisal Underwriting Manager in assignments of appraisal reviews
• Review low risk appraisals and completing the appraisal review form in loan origination system

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year experience in reviewing appraisals
• Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients (underwriters, processors, loan officers, AMCs etc.)
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Ability to manage workload and timelines
