Business Data Analyst Intern - Simplification (Remote-Friendly)

THE ROLE

As a member of the Simplification Team, you will have the opportunity to partner with teams to solve problems and achieve solutions. Our team focuses on reducing complexity and risk, coaching people through change, and analyzing data. This is a year-round internship with the option to be 100% remote.

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

You will partner with business units and functions to enable data-driven decisions. Through this, you will:

  • Have the flexibility to work on projects in key business areas: Market Analysis, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Aftermarket, Warranty, Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Community Engagement
  • Contribute to strategic projects with real business impact
  • Be treated as a full Simplification Team member and given the freedom to manage projects independently

You will learn and apply data analysis skills, including:

  • Use of Power BI to create interactive dashboards and reports
  • Query data sources using SQL-based tools
  • Visualize data using tools and methods which can be shared, taught, and sustained by business data users

You will connect with a greater data analytics community of practice including other interns, analysts, data scientists, and leaders as a part of Oshkosh Corporation’s People First culture

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Sophomore standing or greater working towards a bachelor’s degree with major, minor, emphasis, or interest in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, Business, or Operations Research.

WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT

  • Strong skills related to: project management, organization, oral and written communication
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
