Nexient is looking for a People Logistics Intern to join the team based in our Ann Arbor, MI Development Center. In this role, you will support the People Logistics team by assisting with new project onboarding, internal resume and profile inventory and maintenance, data entry and report maintenance, skill inventory development and maintenance and administrative support and other projects as assigned.
**PLEASE NOTE: This role will be a hybrid of in-person and remote.**
Salary Range: $20/hr
Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm EST (flexibility available in accordance with team needs)
Responsibilities
- Project Onboarding
- Documentation and maintenance of client onboarding standards
- Facilitation of onboarding for new project roles and positions
- Resume & Profile Inventory
- Ensure that all new employees create Nexient branded profiles and resumes that may be shared with potential clients.
- Create profiles and resumes for incoming employees when necessary.
- Ensure that existing employee profiles and resumes are kept up to date for reference.
- Date Entry and Integrity
- Maintain existing data sheet and database to ensure data integrity and to ensure accuracy in reporting
- Skills Inventory
- Identify gaps in current skills inventory information and ensure that they are updated and maintained to reflect evolving employees technical skills.
- Other projects and documentation to help support the People Logistics team and overall project delivery needs.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Curiosity and ability to ask appropriate questions
- Self-motivated
- Ability to maintain confidentiality that is necessary when working with sensitive information
- Fast learner
- Analytical with the ability to look at problems with a new perspective
- Strong organizational skills with attention for detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced and high-pressure environment
- Background in HR, people analytics or supply-chain strategies a plus.
- Ability to work 20-30 hours per week with a potential to become full-time.
