Job Summary:
Overall, the Global Value, Access, and Outcomes (GVAO) intern will work closely with the GVAO Senior Director to implement GVAO studies that support the clinical, economic, and patient-centered value propositions for ATA188. The intern’s responsibilities are to:
  • Conduct literature reviews and synthesize literature
  • Write request for proposals and evaluate research proposals
  • Perform statistical analysis and other data analytic functions as needed
  • Compile, analyze and interpret real-world data
  • Provide research, writing and editing support for GVAO deliverables
  • Manage GVAO projects and ensure on time deliverables
  • Document, plan, and track project tasks and manage timelines
  • Present updates and research findings to internal audiences
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • Must have a BA/ BS Degree
  • Must be in between 1st and 2nd year of their Master’s Program
  • 3.0 GPA and above
  • Must have the ability to get work authorization
  • Understanding of HEOR work concepts and practices with experience executing priority programs with moderate to high complexity and visibility
  • Research and analysis skills required for conducting literature reviews, gap assessment, secondary data analysis methods
  • Clear and concise scientific writing skills for poster development, manuscripts, request for proposals and GVAO study protocols
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Self-motivated, flexible and creative, able to prioritize, multi-task, work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, and effective analytical/ problem solving skills
  • Must be a self-starter, collaborates cross-functionally, and can work independently with minimal functional oversight
  • Effective interpersonal skills as a team player
  • Able to take ownership of a given assignment, proactively consulting other team members and other department representatives for information or guidance, as necessary
  • Role model for Atara’s values of Transparency, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, and Trust


Preferred:


  • Knowledge of commonly used statistical programs (e.g., R, SAS) used in GVAO analyses (preferred)
  • General understanding of biopharmaceutical development, clinical research, biologics manufacturing, cell therapy manufacturing, and project management.
