Being a part of the AddeU Internship Program, you will be working on a meaningful project(s) that you can feel proud of and present back to the company at the end of the experience. In addition to having a supporting manager and mentor, we have a fantastic onboarding program to get you acclimated and ready for your time with us. Fun events and super cool swag are also included!
At the moment, our 12 week internship experience is remote. Dates are currently set for May - August, 2022 but please consult with your recruiter. Seeking US and Canadian students only.
The Role
We are currently seeking a Sales Intern to join our Account Management Team! The Account Management Team focuses on wirehouses, private banks, national/regional broker-dealers, large RIAs, family offices, banks and bank trust clients. We work with our clients to understand their business, build strategic alignment, and find new opportunities to grow the relationship.
We're looking for a candidate who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys the challenge of working with a variety of clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing entrepreneurial company. The ideal candidate is comfortable working hands-on, is ambitious, and results-oriented.
What You'll Do
- Learn how Addepar provides a differentiated client experience across all our client verticals
- Develop an understanding of how the Account Management team works across the Addepar organization to provide a best in class client experience for our clients helping to uncover business opportunities, grow revenue, and deepen client relationships
- Understand how Addepar leverages external partnerships to provide a holistic approach to each client vertical tech stack
- Dive deep into our client engagement model to research and present on potential opportunities for growth within our client base
- Support the team's day-to-day operations, including helping with client requests, renewals, cross-sell opportunities and escalations.
Who You Are
- Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution (university must be located in the US & Canada) & must be returning to school after internship
- Available to intern for the full 12 weeks
- Interest or experience in the financial services, wealth management or SaaS sales industries (FinTech software sales a plus)
- Driven to understand how to build enduring and successful client relationships in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of private banking, wealth management, or family office space
- Strong work ethic, energetic, proactive, team player
- Excellent problem solving, communication, organization and time management skills
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to new demands; strong sense of urgency
- Experience working with Salesforce is a plus
