JOB SUMMARY:

As a member of the Operations team, the Junior Developer-CRM works with a team of Developers and Analysts to provide application support to Simpleview’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other related products for clients. Support requests for a Junior Software Developer include performing basic customizations on a clients system, creating client reports, data maintenance and updates in a web application. Current technologies used include Javascript, Coldfusion, Angular and SQL with an upcoming shift to Node.JS and React. This is an entry level position with opportunities to advance quickly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generate reports using provided templates, basic SQL, ColdFusion, and JavaScript
• Customize client web sites using CSS, JavaScript, Coldfusion, and SQL
• Work with CRM Project Managers and Analysts to review work orders and gather any additional requirements that are required
• Test all completed work to ensure proper and error free functionality
• Complete and respond to all change requests
• Follow best-practices and standards and demonstrated by your leads.
• Update all project notes and statuses daily within the internal Simpleview system
• Maintain accurate time records

REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
• Basic understanding of functional and object-oriented programming.
• Basic understanding of HTTP.
• It is helpful to have a basic understanding of JavaScript, SQL, ColdFusion, or other server-side scripting languages.
• Ability to accept guidance and the desire become a strong web developer.
• Solid communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail
• Relentless work ethic in a fast paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This position is available to both the Tucson-area and remote candidates.
