We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team in Elmwood Park, NJ location. Remote work flexible.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

Reporting directly to the Manager of Accounting, the Jr. Accountant will be responsible for providing entry-level accounting, financial support and data entry type services. The position will work closely with other accounting personnel, internal departments and external parties.

Summary:
Reporting directly to the Manager of Accounting, the Jr. Accountant will be responsible for providing entry-level accounting, financial support and data entry type services. The position will work closely with other accounting personnel, internal departments and external parties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not necessarily limited to:
- Assist in maintaining and setting up new purchasing items and vendors for invoice processing.
- Assist in preparation of monthly journal entries, and posting journal entries to the general ledger.
- Timely reconciliation of bank accounts, and analyze other general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of a daily cash receipt / disbursements report for distribution to key company stake-holders (including Executive Committee).
- Completion of SOX controls related to assigned areas.
- Cooperating with Internal and External Audit by providing appropriate documentation for various requests related to assigned areas.
- Performance of AD Hoc requests from the Manager of Accounting and Controller.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
