Social Media Marketing Intern

We are seeking a Social Media Intern to support our marketing team with social media management, digital marketing, and storytelling. This role will consist of managing our social media calendar, creating content for our platforms, and looking at new insights for our consumers.

The marketing internship is a paid, part-time position during the school year. Opportunity to work full-time in the summer. This is a remote position, San Francisco Bay area or San Diego area preferred.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university and pursing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field of study.
• Very well versed in and have high acumen for social media platforms, particularly Instagram.
• You have a passion for technology and are naturally curious.
• You have an eye for up-and-coming trends and you’re a creative thinker that is willing to go outside of the box for the right solutions.
• Ability to choose and create visual content that communicates the organization’s brand.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, desire to learn and a passion for the digital marketing field.
• High attention to detail, excellent organization, and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
