About the Position:

As an Intern for XYPN’s Finance Team, you’ll learn what it takes to manage the financial aspects of a fast-paced and rapidly growing company as you help with everything from member billing to accounting reconciliation to financial reporting (and everything in between!).

What You’ll Do:

• Help with membership billing, and answer member questions and requests in true XYPN fashion—quickly, kindly, and accurately

• Validate user reports against our internal user lists within GoogleSheets—you’d much rather triple-check than double-check

• Help with accounts payable functions and processing invoices

• Reconcile monthly credit card charges

• Help with weekly bookkeeping and reconciliation of bank accounts

• Help prepare monthly financial reports

• Lend your talents to other major projects (like software transitions)

Status: Part-Time, long term (15-20 hours/week)

What You’ll Bring to the Table

• Legally authorized to live and work in the United States

• Currently enrolled in college (Bachelors or higher)

• Relevant experience or coursework in finance or accounting

What Would Make Us Drool

• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (you have nothing but love for pivot tables, charts, and VLOOKUPs)

• Experience working in accounting software (our jaws would be on the floor if you knew how to use QuickBooks)
