eCommerce Intern

We are seeking an individual with a passion for driving business through ecommerce solutions, and who can provide a best-in-class experience through various ecommerce and marketplace solutions.
As an eCommerce Intern, you will begin contributing real client work almost immediately; gaining valuable, direct client ecommerce marketing experience that few other internships will offer.
Working as team with other ecommerce specialists, content writers, graphic designers, videographers, and strategic brand specialists, you will be responsible for helping our clients get their products and inventory up for sale across a variety of ecommerce solutions and marketplaces, aiming to provide an exceptional experience.
This is a 20-30 hour per week paid internship. The hours you work are flexible around your schedule and can be completed remotely.
Key Areas of Focus and Responsibilities:
Client Onboarding
- Coordinate with sellers to ensure order entry is complete with necessary information
- Assist with communication with clients/merchants to gather required information and platform access (eg. Amazon, Facebook, Google Merchant Center, Google Analytics, etc.)
Product Feed Management
- Monitor active product feeds for errors and work with various platforms and vendors on resolutions.
Marketplace Setup and Management
- Coordinate with sellers to ensure all new merchant programs are submitted correctly and billed according to their program
- Merchant Support – assist with onboarding procedures, ensure order fulfillment, assist with common questions
- End User Support – assist in answering end-customer inquiries regarding order status, tracking, site questions, etc.
- Manage contract start and end dates, and work with sellers to retain merchants
Analytics & Reporting
- Manage reporting calendar, ensure necessary reports are complete and verify data accuracy
Skill & Experience Requirements
- Junior or senior at a 4-year university or a recent graduate in Advertising, Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related degree
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize your day to meet client deadlines
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 10 or higher
- Exceptional interpersonal, and verbal and written communications skills
- Self-starter with ability to seek out solutions and ask for help when needed
- Ability to multi-task and manage several tasks or projects at once
- Ability to think critically and solve problems
- Passionate about digital marketing and industry-specific trends
