2022 Intern Program

The Bon Secours Mercy Health Internship Program is a paid 10-12 week, immersive program that will expose students to the healthcare industry while also giving them the skills and experience needed to build a future career. The program also features additional opportunities for mentorship, networking, career & professional development, community service, job shadowing, and exposure to senior and executive leaders. Interns will work under the direction of Mercy Health leadership by assisting the Real Estate Group with various special projects.
Location: Positions may be remote and/or in-person, based on role
(Students should be prepared to participate in an in-person, hybrid, or virtual experience, based upon the needs of the role. Some roles will be 100% remote.)
Dates: May 23rd, 2022 - August 5th, 2022
Hours: 40 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks
Target Participants: Senior level undergrad and graduate students (Dec 2022 & May 2023 graduates)
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree (various majors)
- Strong service orientation
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and sense of accountability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite – specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be self-motivated, capable of taking initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing priorities, and effectively manage deadlines
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and have strong rapport with the leaders and colleagues
- Ability to work independently
- Strong time management and organization skill
