Be a part of how we show up as a brand internally and support our employees in staying informed and feeling connected with a shared sense of purpose. This includes sourcing content, writing, editing, and distributing/posting employee-facing messaging through various media such as our intranet, email, and other online channels.

Do you consider yourself creative? You will play an important role in supporting creative content development, communications channel management, and the ideation of imaginative ways to evolve our internal communication processes.

The 2022 Internal Communications Internship is a 12-week internship in the US anticipated to start on January 3, 2022.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • As someone with strong writing skills, you will partner with the Internal Communications team in creating and editing internal messaging delivered through multiple channels across a global employee population.
    • You will deliver a modern touch to internal communications that promotes a visually appealing, engaging and professional approach to help drive Talend culture and keep employees informed.
    • Learn the various distribution methods to provide support in getting messaging out in a timely manner as well as our channel processes (such as setting up a virtual meetings or editing digital content).
    • Support the team in the development of video communications and the curation of content for our monthly newsletter.
    • Provide the team with support in with reviewing the Intranet content map and help with establishing an intranet team that will take our intranet to the next level.
    • Research new trends in internal communications, including new technologies, and recommend opportunities to pilot new approaches that actively engage employees and further our cultural and collaboration aspirations.
    • Work closely with the Creative Team to develop complementary and distinct visuals to drive internal communications through multiple channels in engaging ways.

A LITTLE ABOUT YOU:

    • Writing experience and a desire to grow in this space.
    • Strong relationship skills a must. We want you to enjoy engaging with employees and our unique Talend culture.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, multi-tasker.
    • Creative flair with an eye for new and inventive ways to share messages and bring the Talend culture to life.
    • An understanding of internal communications within a corporate environment.
    • Experience with websites (as an end user web content developer) and video editing/production a plus.
    • Prior communications, marketing or journalism experience a plus.
    • Demonstrated ability to identify emerging trends in communications, develop related approaches and effectively translate them into actionable plans.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Marketing, Masters preferred.
