Undergrad Intern Engineer-Electrical

Job Duties/Scope Of Work
This Co-Op intern will perform a multitude of entry level duties supporting the various elements of the HMIS Engineering department. Work activities are expected to include development of technical information through drawing and document research; updating databases and engineering configuration management information, field walkdowns, interfacing with personnel both inside and outside of Engineering, and assisting engineers with various general support requests.

Basic Qualifications
- Candidates should be pursuing a B.S. degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and demonstrate an interest in learning about engineering technology, processes, and real-world applications of course work.

  • Candidates should possess a high attention to detail and have excellent computer skills.

  • Candidates must have one college term completed, and must be enrolled (currently) as a full-time student, and live within a commutable distance from the work site.

  • Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or above.

  • Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week .

  • Note: This position may require the selected candidate to work (telecommute) remotely, within a commutable distance and in accordance with HMIS procedural requirements.

Desired Qualifications
- AutoCAD experience is desired but not required for consideration.
