Anthem Federal Health Products and Services is looking for versatile, hard-working, and talented copywriting intern who can craft compelling copy and has an eye for grammar. Our intern will learn about marketing, direct response and email copywriting. They will receive hands-on mentoring, and write copy for both traditional and digital advertising, and other short-form marketing deliverables.
Primary responsibilities include supporting:
- Creation of marketing materials and member communications for both print and digital
- Development of health and wellness content including presentations, flyers, posters, newsletters and emails
- Proofread marketing materials (emails banners, website, etc)
- Participate in project kickoff and review meetings
- Ensure copy tone and style are consistent with brand style guidelines
- Deliver creative copy that is on brief, on time, and effectively conveys the brand
Functions OR examples of projects for this role:
- Draft copy for member-facing emails
- Develop copy for health and wellness flyers
- Craft event invitations for sales events
- Write video scripts to promote programs and resources
Qualifications
This position supports Anthem's federal contracting business, which is subject to the Covid-19 vaccination requirements set forth in Executive Order 14042 and its implementing guidance. - Pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, English or related discipline.
- This internship is from June to August and is 40 hours per week.
