JOB SUMMARY
The Junior Loan Processor is responsible for reviewing income and credit for initial mortgage loan approval. It is required that you have recent experience calculating income and experience with DU/LP to determine whether a loan meets eligibility requirements.
WHAT YOU BRING
Must Have
- 1 year of RECENT Loan Processing experience
- 1 year of recent experience with VA, FHA and Conventional loan products knowledge
- DU/LP experience
- 1 year of recent experience calculating income; W2 and Self Employed and ability to read credit
- Understand and use computer programs and systems for the tracking and processing of loans – LOS and AUS systems
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Exceptional problem solving abilities
- Ability to stay on track in a remote environment
- This role is 100% remote

- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Credit verification including employment, assets, rental history, credit reports, etc.
- Review documentation and provide conditions for loan approvals needed to comply with underwriting guidelines
- Determine whether a loan meets eligibility requirements utilizing DU/LP
- Maintain a secure data environment for loan files
- Report any concerns of possible misrepresentation or fraudulent documentation/activity to Manager if necessary
