The Job
Our Talent Acquisition team is expanding, so we are adding a Junior Recruiter to our growing organization. The role can be located in any of our offices or structured to work remotely. The Junior Recruiter will be responsible for managing a portfolio of open requisitions as well as general departmental administration. This opportunity is a full life cycle recruiting position where you will serve as a strategic business partner to our hiring managers to identify the best candidates for our team.
Specific duties include (but are not limited to) the following:
  • Work with hiring managers and leadership on staffing planning
  • Draft and post role descriptions
  • Manage applicant flow in our applicant tracking system
  • Screen applicants and determine the “short list” of candidates to present to hiring managers
  • Research strategic sourcing techniques for harder to fill roles
  • Identify and recruit high performing passive candidates
  • Work with hiring managers through the interview process offering coaching on interview techniques when needed
  • Negotiate offers with candidates and hiring managers
  • Attend recruiting events including job fairs and college recruiting
  • Work with candidates through the pre-hire process and ensure easy handoff upon start and onboarding
  • Work on open roles throughout North America with an opportunity to expand globally as we grow
Your Background
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR, Business Management/Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 0-3 years of experience in recruiting, sales, or general HR
  • Experience working in the AEC industry (specifically MEP) is strongly preferred
  • Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and practices
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to self-direct and work independently in a remote environment
  • Ability to navigate competing priorities and provide exceptional service and results to our leadership
  • Excellent time management and creative problem solver
  • Strong leadership, sales, and negotiation ability
  • Knowledge of EEO and OFCCP practices and procedures, understanding of relevant Federal and State laws
  • Ability to travel if required, no more than 20%. Ability to work some evenings and weekends when needed during tight deadlines
