Literacy Curriculum Intern

Job Overview:

Our Literacy Curriculum Intern is responsible for supporting the creation and documentation of literacy content for Lexia’s blended-learning curriculum and related resources.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports documentation of educational content for technology-based reading program

  • Creates spreadsheets that present content in a clear, organized manner

  • Enters new content into provided templates and documents

  • Reviews printed documents and online program content for accuracy

  • Conducts literature reviews and consolidate information from industry leaders related to the educational goals for curriculum enhancements

Job Requirements:

  • Current or recent undergraduate/graduate student

  • Strong interest in educational technology, literacy and culturally responsive teaching practices

  • Previous office, educational, editorial, or research work experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and G Suite (Google Drive, Google Docs)

  • Excellent communication, organization and time management skills

  • Resourceful, fast learner
