Internship Term: Winter 2022
Rivian internships are experiences optimized for student candidates. To be eligible, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date of December 2022 or May/June 2023.

CAPEX MISSION:
Accelerate Rivian’s growing footprint and manufacturing capabilities by building, managing, and scaling a global Capex supply chain.
THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams on a multitude of projects simultaneously
- Ability to troubleshoot various technical issues and research effective solutions
- Proficient in Excel for data analytics for data visualization. Desire to learn new tools/methodologies
- Strong attention to detail, high level of organization, and analytic skills to convert data into decision and insightful stories
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidently autonomous coupled with humble maturity to know when to ask for help
NICE TO HAVES:
- Previous internship experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Construction roles
- Good understanding of manufacturing process and experience in manufacturing supply chain
THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Gather Market intelligence and develop Vendor Landscape
- Conduct Bench marking exercises for various Categories
- Send out RFI and RFP for ingoing projects
- Market research and establish suppliers for electric vehicle powertrain manufacturing, including battery, drive unit, and power electronics, or to vendors for material flow and body shop supply chain
- Develop RFQs for these areas and manage supplier selection and schedule execution for the projects
- Track equipment readiness with suppliers
