As a new talent development initiative, YipitData is launching its first-ever internship program for our Research team. Join us for an inaugural internship class as we help shape a new generation of data-minded investment research professionals!
The Research Specialist Internship Program will start in June, 2022. We’re looking to hire top performers for full-time offers in 2023.

As a member of our team, you'll gain experience in:

• Programming & Analytics: Learn SQL, Databricks, and other big data analysis tools. Collaborate with our data team to build a deep understanding of our datasets and proprietary methodologies
• Data-Led Research: Work closely with experienced research analysts to understand, create, and communicate valuable insights covering large, disruptive industries using our datasets
• Investing: Become a trusted and reliable resource for our clients and work with them to identify their key unanswered questions. You'll learn how investors think about companies and the most important questions they need to answer to make investment decisions
• Alternative Data Landscape: Build expertise in a fast-growing sector of the data industry at the largest company in the space. Become an expert on key datasets available to investors

This is a fantastic opportunity to build a strong technical & entrepreneurial skill set. It will position you for a career pioneering the future of investment research.
Additionally, this is a remote-friendly opportunity; candidates are welcome to come to NYC for the program (where our headquarter is located), or participate remotely from anywhere in the US.

• A 10-week PAID internship starting with a multi-week training program that includes:
• Technical training sessions where you’ll learn to code
• Ongoing training sessions where you’ll learn the ins and outs of alternative data, institutional investors, and developing valuable insights

• The opportunity to receive a full-time offer as a Research Specialist in 2023

You Could Be a Good Fit if You Are:

• An undergraduate student with an anticipated graduation date between December 2022 - June 2023
• A strong GPA showing commitment to scholastic success
• An interest in data, business, and investing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A methodical and inquisitive mindset
• Ability to work collaboratively in an innovative, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced environment
• A commitment to learning new skills and working on a product team where everyone learns to code
