The Summer Intern in Benefit Audit Solutions will assist with a variety of activities directly supporting clients and health and pharmacy benefits data informatics analytical activities. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Supporting ongoing analytical activities regarding medical and pharmacy claims data.
• Assisting with periodic reporting
• Assisting with ad-hoc requests that require data querying and manipulation.
• Assisting with medical and pharmacy claims data and audit activities.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities with creative problem solving ability
• Previous SQL, SAS or programming experience required. Python helpful.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a time-sensitive environment
• Minimum two plus years of undergraduate education or undergraduate degree
• Knowledge of medical claims systems/coding, actuarial concepts or health benefits is a plus
• Previous work experience in a professional service environment is desirable but not mandatory.
