Content Marketing Intern, 2022
Tyler is currently accepting resumes for an internship opportunity with our Marketing team. The Content Marketing Intern will support the department by creating content for blog posts, news articles, analyze data on content performance and researching new content placement opportunities.
This position provides an opportunity to immerse yourself in Tyler’s successful marketing department as you gain an understanding of the public sector and technology industry. You will gain valuable experience with marketing platforms and the suite of Microsoft Office products, which are highly sought after skills in today’s job market
As a part of Tyler’s corporate staff, you will make an impact on outcomes that affect various areas of the company. Your work will ultimately support our team members, clients, stakeholders, and the public sector.

Responsibilities
- Write blogs and/or new articles for a variety of publication channels
- Project manage blog series from strategy to publication
- Assist in collecting and analyzing data on content performance
- Assist in editorial strategy with a focus on key messages and SEO
- Draft suggested social media posts for owned and earned content
- Liaise with vertical business units on content syndication
- Research new content placement opportunities
Qualifications
- Currently an active college student pursuing a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in marketing, communications, political science, or related field
- Exceptional writing skills including exceptional command of proper grammar and punctuation and familiarity with AP Style
- Able to provide a strong short form writing sample (blog, article, short paper, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of and interest in the public sector including local, state, and federal governments and school districts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Outstanding attention to detail including consistency and accuracy in writing; takes time to fact check, proofread, and turn in quality – not rushed – work
