Your mission: help our Platform service teams work deliver our platform vision with high transparency and efficiency by driving cross organizational collaboration programs that enable scrum teams to manage their inter & intra-dependencies.
This will be an extremely challenging but exhilarating opportunity to join a group that is driving Agile transformation at Autodesk with significant revenue implications for the company. Moving our customers, development and design processes and iterating quickly to stay ahead of competitors and the ever-changing market. As the business transformation affects most software products across the company it is necessary to be increasingly Agile in our software development, design and deployment processes. There are many opportunities to continue innovating and leveraging cutting-edge techniques in this area.
As Autodesk moves to become a platform company and transforms itself from the traditional desktop, to embracing other technologies, a ton of work needs to get done to keep our technical teams and leaders fully informed, educated, and performing. This internship is an opportunity to work across the platform services product teams, engineering leadership, Chief Architects, Technical Training and Agile Practice Development to reach our Engineering community with the tools, frameworks, practices and processes that will secure their success in this rapidly changing software development landscape.
Responsibilities
As an Intern Technical Program Manager, your typical day may include the following:
+ Have strong communication skills.
+ Learn how Autodesk builds & scales its cloud core platform.
+ Learn everything you need to know about Agile & Lean Methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
+ Hands-on experience with the very latest technology trends in Agile Program Management.
+ Have an opportunity to post about your internship experiences on our Autodesk Cloud Engineering blog!
Minimum Qualifications
To land this gig, you will need:
+ Full-time student pursuing a bachelors level computer science or engineering degree at an accredited program in the United States with at least one academic term to complete post internship to be eligible for internship participation.
+ Strong proficiency in Critical Thinking, Communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
+ You have experience with program management & Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies.
+ You have expert knowledge of Agile & Lean methodologies.
About the US Intern Program
The U.S. program runs from May through August for 12 weeks and will be remote (subject to change). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. US recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes end of March.
