Overview:
This role will support the homologation efforts for all Canoo electric vehicle programs and markets. You will work in Polarion, Jira, and some government websites to create an internal database of required regulations to support the certification and launch of all Canoo programs. You will gain a good understanding of the complete make-up of a vehicle and its safety requirements.
Responsibilities:- Create, edit, and organize the homologation requirements and documentation of Canoo regulations for the target markets
- Work closely and collaborate with the homologation team to create documentation defining regulatory requirements for complete vehicle
- Verify documents are accurate and complete
- Monitor new global regulations and ensure any updates are captured in internal database
- Working toward bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or another related field
- Ability to understand technical documents
- Experience or interest in the automotive industry
- Basic CATIA skills a plus.
- Polarion and Jira knowledge not required, but helpful
- Work with some of the most innovative minds in EV
- Work closely with leaders working on LIVE projects in the EV industry
