Part-time/Remote Research and Evaluation Intern (Missouri Partners in Prevention)

Summary
Missouri Partners in Prevention is a 100 percent grant-funded program that supports public health intervention, as well as research and evaluation needs, of 24 campuses in Missouri. The Missouri Department of Mental Health funds the coalition to conduct a quantitative research project on 30 campuses in Missouri.

The Research and Evaluation Intern is critical to the research staff that implements, analyzes and creates communication products about the data year-round.

Essential Functions
Serve on the Partners in Prevention research team.

Check in with remote team on days working.

Respond to data requests from 30 campuses.

Develop Qualtrics surveys.

Develop research presentations and briefs.

Develop grant reports.

Additional Responsibilities
Assist with Partners in Prevention communication as needed.

As with all positions, involvement with other duties and responsibilities is expected in order to serve and maintain our departmental and Student Affairs mission.


Salary


$11.15 per hour

Shift


Hours vary based on department needs; may include evenings and/or weekends

Average number of hours per week: 15


Minimum Qualifications


High school diploma or GED

Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program, such as health sciences, public health, education, psychology, sociology, social work or pre-medicine

Experience with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Ability to communicate clearly with staff and external partners

This is a remote position, so staff must have their own computer with the ability to run SPPS and other statistical software, as well as a reliable Internet connection.


Preferred Qualifications


Knowledge of SPSS software

Experience with scientific writing
