Market Intelligence Intern, Summer 2022
The Marketing Intelligence Intern will assist with a few special projects in the Market Intel team and will be given exposure to a broad range of marketing responsibilities. The intern will participate in marketing activities that help to support Tyler’s more than 3,800 employees and 15,000+ clients across North America.
The internship will run during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8-5) with flexibility based on your class schedule and availability.
As a part of Tyler’s corporate staff, you will make an impact on outcomes that affect various areas of the company. Your work will ultimately support our team members, clients, stakeholders, and the public sector.

Responsibilities
- Work with both the Sr. Mgr. of Strategic Intelligence and the Market Intel Analyst to conduct competitive and market research via secondary source data. Synthesize and help transform information into actionable strategic insights for internal stakeholders. This includes:
- Identification of key competitor trends, strengths, weaknesses, competitive differentiators, positioning, pricing, technologies, etc.
- Communication of key competitive and market insights.
- Research and development of Sales Enablement tools such as battle cards, competitive positioning, FOIA analyses.
- Updates to competitive information libraries on Market Intel SharePoint sites.
Qualifications
- Currently an active college student pursuing a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in marketing,
- Intellectual curiosity and an ability to understand the client’s and partner’s perspective
- Microsoft Office knowledge (strong Excel and PowerPoint skills a plus)
- Effective time management skills (deadline/results driven)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
