This position will be located in our Corporate Sector at Irving, TX.The qualified candidate will become a part of Northrop Grumman’s Corporate Global Supply Chain Management team and job duties may include:Contacts vendors and transportation companies, to ensure that materials, supplies, and equipment are shipped and delivered on promised dates. Determines when deliveries may be delayed; coordinates with purchasing, manufacturing, engineering, and other users to expedite material requirements; maintains records and follow-up files of purchases, shipments, returns of damaged items, and related matters. - Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university in a background in line with our MS Strategic Disciplines.
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2022.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) if required
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
