TDI’s Solutions Division was established in 2017 with the mission of automating this expertise into our innovative cybersecurity solution (CnSight) for commercial clients using modern technologies.

The team is seeking a talented Intern (paid) with a demonstrated passion for technology and cybersecurity. CnSight is different from existing cybersecurity products because it focuses on presenting security leader’s key performance metrics of their tools, teams, and processes aimed at finally improving the effectiveness of cybersecurity. Preferred work location is within commuting distance to our Washington, DC headquarters. This is primarily a telework/remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Quickly come up to speed on and apply concepts from NIST special publications such as 800-171, 800-53, 800-37, 800-171, etc. and ISO 27001
• Provide engaging product demonstrations to prospects serving as a sales engineer
• Research cybersecurity topics and write up to one compelling short blog post a week
• Interact with customers and development team to help gather and define requirements

Qualifications:

• Computer Science or IT major with solid technical background (computer security and networking fundamentals) through coursework, projects, and personal interests
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Enthusiastic, self-starter with a passion for growing skills, tackling interesting work and challenging problems required
• Knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity requirements (NIST) and tools (Nessus, Splunk, etc.) preferred
• United States citizenship required
