Sales Intern - Life Science
Internship opportunity with Hylant's Commercial Life Science Team. Enhance the client experience by providing support to the internal team. To develop skills, industry knowledge and relationships. This position can be remote or hybrid from any of the Hylant Office locations.

The Life Science Sales Intern is driven by prompt, accurate and thoughtful service to clients and internal team members. With prior education and/or internship experience with insurance or finance background.
In This Role You Will Execute On:
Data/Market Research
- Perform external market research
- Make recommendations based on competitive market
- Organize and present information
Project Management
- Coordinate appropriate internal and/or external resources for the execution of projects
- Develop a project plan to monitor and track progress
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Other
- Assist with strategic marketing, preparation of various presentations and deliverables
- Help organize seminars and events
- Timely response and follow up of all issues/inquiries received, including proactively updating team on outstanding items
- Participate in sales meetings
- Learn of our capabilities including our Client Engagement Strategy and become well versed in it in order to effectively differentiate Hylant
- Understand and adopt our sales tools and process including Miller-Heiman and CRM
In This Role You'll Need:
- Insurance or Finance Major
- Analytical – strong ability to manipulate and analyze data in Excel, proficiency with PowerPoint
- Ability to conduct thorough prospect research
- Ability to move from project to project
- Willingness to learn new skills and procedures
- Sales driven with a desire to prospect and compete.
- Passionate and professionally persistent
- Desires to be a professional, solutions-focused advisor to buyers.
- Disciplined, organized and efficient.
- Intelligent and quick learner.
