Description

Chief Data office has a need for a Metrics and Data Intern to fill the following job responsibilities:

• The newly hired data intern will need strong collaboration skills in order to work with varied stakeholders within the organization.
• In particular, the data associate will work in close relationship with data governance teams and with business (data) analysts in ensuring data governance process are adhered to as well as deliver data management products as requested from customer.
• Associate will support the data governance function by auditing data standards for feedback.
• Associate will work with data consumers to solicit data and reporting requirements.
• Associate will map the data requirements to technical data models to determine where to pull the requested data.
• Associate will analyze data and with help from senior staff determine what dimensions and facts shall be created in the data warehouse.
• Associate will create visualizations of the data based on the reporting requirements.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree and 0 years related experience or Associates Degree and 2+ years of experience with data analytics or related area in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.

• Data Governance Fundamentals of framework acquired via training and reading on DG framework.
• Power BI experience.
• The newly hired data associate will need strong collaboration skills in order to work with varied stakeholders within the organization.
• In particular, the data associate will work in close relationship with data governance teams and with business (data) analysts in ensuring data governance process are adhered to as well as deliver data management products as requested from customer.
