Where You’ll Work
Help to make an impact with your data analysis and project management skills! This Internship will be working with the Retail and Home Delivery Network Product Team where you will be assisting with analyzing provider and network data, reviewing benefits to clients after implementing network products, and in solving complex issues with cross-functional business partners to assist in ongoing workflow enhancements. Y ou will have exposure to large data analyses and will have the opportunity to learn how we create pharmacy networks with retail pharmacies, clients, and members in mind. Out side of your day-to-day work, you will have the opportunity take part in personal and professional development activities, including an executive speaker series that opens up a dialogue between you and company leaders, community service events, and networking opportunities with employees and other summer interns.
What You’ll Do
Use your analytical skills to help identify improvement opportunities and work cross functionally
Work on assigned project(s) and learn from the original concept stages through implementation
Perform analytical reviews of network products to determine value to clients
Assist network product owners with project management tasks required for new network development
Qualifications
Ideal candidate will be a rising junior or senior in a Bachelor’s degree program
Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task with several projects
Must have previous data analysis experience (projects, coursework, internships, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong business aptitude and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Being a self-starter who is eager to learn and acquire new skills
Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour work week for 10-12 weeks summer 2022, beginning May 23, 2022.
This role can support work from home from any US location.
One goal of this internship program is to prepare and identify qualified candidates for roles with Cigna post-graduation. Therefore, this temporary internship is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
