We are seeking a driven and dynamic FINANCIAL & ESG ANALYST INTERN to join our team for an internship role. If you are an analytical and quantitative thinker with expertise in research and operational due diligence, we want to hear from you! You will be working directly with the CFO as well as the Capital Markets and Credit Teams. You will be an important member of the team assisting in performing financial and operational due diligence, as well as conducting research and assisting in the development of frameworks for ESG analysis. For this role, we are seeking someone with significant interest in Finance and ESG. Relevant work experience and/or academic degrees will stand you in good stead. The ideal candidate has Superior verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and quantitative skills, is proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel and is highly organised and detail orientated.

Duties and Responsibility:

• Work with Capital Markets, Credit and Finance teams on presentations for new projects and initiatives
• Assist in performing financial and operational due diligence
• As part of the investment process, provide ESG research support for each product
• Building a framework for ESG analysis
• Conducting research on the uses of blockchain technology within the ESG ecosystem

Job Requirements:

• Significant interest in Credit Investing, ESG, fintech and Corporate Finance space;
• Academic degree, or progress towards an academic degree, with knowledge of basic financial concepts a plus
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Robust work ethic and positive attitude
• Desire to work in a team environment

Location: This is a remote position. We are open to candidates in either the US or Canada.
