This exciting position as a Innovation Intern will support our Water Heater Division, located in Roswell, GA. This position can be located in Roswell, GA or remotely.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit? Do you have a passion to solve pressing customer needs? Do you have a passion to deliver a product / service that is focused on the customers? In this position, you will be exposed to lean startup and design thinking methodologies to validate customer needs and experiences. You will work closely with our innovation team to quickly create proof of concepts to test in market. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and agile team environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Help create and conduct customer focused research
• Support innovation team in creating proof of concepts
• Support innovation team with in-market testing
• Support design thinking efforts across water heating division
• Assist with logistics for innovation team events
• Support open innovation initiatives

WHAT YOU NEED

• Student in an approved undergraduate program with a minimum grade point average of 2.5 or a graduate of an accredited University/College.
• Computer skills (PowerPoint and Microsoft Word/Excel).
• Skills in and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Ability to work well with others in a team oriented development environment.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Must be self-motivated.

HOW TO STAND OUT

• Experience building surveys
• Experience with ideation and collaboration tools
• Experience with crowdsourcing and crowdfunding platforms
• Project Management certification/experience
