Internship Term: Summer 2022
Rivian internships are experiences optimized for student candidates. To be eligible, you must be an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited program during the internship term with an expected graduation date of December 2022 or May/June 2023.

Strategic Finance Team:
As a member of the Strategy team, you will be responsible for building bottoms-up financial models, ad-hoc business case modeling—including business units, potential acquisitions, and commercial deals—supporting Rivian’s strategic objectives, and revenue planning.
Job description:
- Work on projects tailored to team needs (as well as your background and interests) to help scale Rivian’s growing business
- Build detailed, bottoms-up operating and financial projection models to analyze various strategic and capital allocation decisions
- Present recommendations to senior team members and executives
- Research, benchmark, and define future opportunities across a wide spectrum of critical business questions
- Location – remote (time zone: majority of team is based in Palo Alto, CA). Please note that due to tax implications, you must reside in and work from the United States throughout the internship period despite remote status.
Requirements:
- Currently in first year of a two-year MBA program from an accredited University
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (ability to build complex operating, financial, and valuation models to evaluate transaction economics and perform sensitivity analysis)
- Strong financial, research and analytical skills with ability to assimilate data, extract insights, and make informed recommendations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner
- Eligible to work in the United States during the internship period (12 weeks, June-August)
