This internship would be an opportunity for the individual to work with the HSE team supporting Projects and Service Sites. The main goals of the internship would be to support the two strategic goals that the team has ongoing, implementation of the Setting to Work Process following current Pilot Program and Sphera data quality improvement.Summer 2022 Internships!

Position Overview
Take on the role of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Specialist to analyze data contained in our HSE incident reporting system.
- Identify trends in reporting that may be precursors to incidents with personal injury or environmental impact. Or perform analysis based on directed focus areas.
- Identify improvement opportunities based on your data analysis. Coordinate corrective actions such as Lessons Learned presentations or escalation to Engineering cases.
- Process map the implementation of the incident management procedure and corrective action management processes to closure and validation.
- Process map and create a dashboard the region HSE inspection program to manage and all region inspections from all levels of the organization and the different departments.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Education, Experience and Abilities
- Pursing Bachelor or Master’s degree in school of Engineering (i.e. electrical, mechanical, chemical, industrial etc.)
- Rising sophomore, junior, senior or grad student
- 3.0+ overall GPA
- Advanced computer skills with MS Office (word, excel, powerpoint)
- Solid communication skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrate innovation and forward-thinking aptitude through previous school projects, employment, or extracurricular activities
- Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Qualified applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States
- Qualified applicants may be allowed remote working opportunities, based on business needs .
Preferred skills, experience, and education:
- Experience in renewable energy
