Junior Account Executive, Direct

The Junior Account Executive, Direct is a revenue producing role with unlimited upside earning potential for the right, experienced candidate. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record during their time as a Sales or Business Development Representative. The comp structure rewards an individual for the hunt and the spoils when net-new Direct Sales monthly recurring revenue (MRR) is added by the prospect. The promotion path to a Senior Account Executive is one-year after proving their ability to hunt & cultivate new business within Vultr’s Direct Sales function. Responsibilities
- Leverage your past prospect and client network to secure net-new meetings for Vultr Direct Sales
- Pursues the highest propensity prospects, fills the funnel with opportunities; pitching prospects primarily at the Director through C-level
- Using Social Selling techniques to expand your network and open up new business opportunities
- Utilizes available Sales tech stack to secure prospect meetings
- Providing rapid response to inbound inquiries from all sources
- Actively monitors and maintains status of opportunities in ActiveCampaign, following the principles of forecasting
- Consistently achieve weekly and monthly quarterly net-new meeting quota with qualified prospects
- Prepare yourself for a near-term Senior Account Executive role by self-learning and soaking in experience from all that surrounds you
- Help close revenue on your own, once proven to your peers and management
- Travel to conferences, representing the Vultr brand in-person to direct prospects
Requirements
Qualifications
- 1+ years professional experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain Vultr’s value propositions in clear and concise terms
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Sales or Business Development Representative
- Experience or knowledge of Cloud, IaaS or SaaS
- Demonstrated thought leadership through publications and public speaking
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
