Salary Information$20.00 per hour-REPOST-Applicants who previously applied need not reapply.This position is limited to a maximum of 944 hours in a fiscal year. Hours of work are a minimum of 20 hours per week and may not exceed 35 hours per week under normal working situations.The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking interns to work with the Information Security Unit (ISU). The individuals will work Level 1 information security support. This will include resolving help desk tickets, incident response tickets, and a variety of additional work in information security utilizing latest information security techniques.Hours of work will be 8am – 4pm, two days per week (Sunday through Saturday). Days of the week to be determined at time of offer, and based on operational needs.Note: This position may qualify for remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, you will be required to have high speed home internet access. This program does not supersede the "New Jersey First Act", which requires newly hired Judiciary employees to establish and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey.Effective August 20, 2021, the New Jersey Judiciary will require all state court judges and staff to provide to Human Resources either (1) proof of vaccination against COVID-19; or (2) results of weekly tests for COVID-19. This information will be maintained in a secure Judiciary application that will be accessible by a limited group of Human Resources staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Thirty credit hours from an accredited college pursuing a degree or certificate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Other majors interested in Information Security also welcome.Unofficial College or University transcript must be included in your application in order to be considered.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Driver's License: Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position. Authorization to Work: US citizenship is not required. Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations. Special Note: Newly hired employees must agree to a thorough background check that will include fingerprinting. All data received will be kept in strict confidence except to inform the individual of the findings and what action will be taken as a result of this information.
